MY LIFE WITH CUSHING
Mere longevity is a good thing for those who watch Life from the side lines. For those who play the game, an hour may be a year; a single day's work an achievement for eternity.

Count your blessings. . .
Today is Sunday.July 8, 2012. Tommorow I will be flying to Manila for my transnasal transsphenoidal surgery at the Philippine General Hospital. Ill be having the surgery on July 11, 2012. My neurosurgeon is Dr. Gerard Legaspi.
Just a while ago, i research thru the web about this procedure and discovered that this operation will just take three (3) hoursand the patient may be discharge from the hospital after three or four days. At least it calmed me down,my anxiety lessened.
Anyway, as some of my friends/ officemates told me, I have to relax. I have to free my mind of all the worries and fears that I have regarding this surgery. They told me to trust in the Lord. Cast unto Him all my burdens and surrender myself to Him. Ive been preparing my self for this and have been praying every night for God's blessings.
When I went to Manila last June 18 to see the neurosurgeon and to schedule the said surgery, I think it was a blessing for me. The doctor scheduled my surgery on the 11th of July and a few days later, I found out that July 11 is the feast day of St.Benedict. I am not a devout follower of St.Benedict but i also prays and asks for his intercession. And the following week, a client in our office told me that her friend (who happened to know me too) was back from a vacation from Italy and she had something for me. It was a medallion of St. Benedict. Was it just a coincidence...? I dont know... But I regard it as another blessing..
Ill be retiring for now. See you again in my next post... ill be updating you guys about my transsphenoidal surgery soon...
Please pray for the success of my operation.... . Thanks everyone!

my present condition...
Its been a while since i went to see my endocrinologist. it was in November 2010 that i have seen her. Last December, i didnt feel anything bad about my health.I guess im a bit well back then. But lately, since last tuesday, i am feeling too bad. My left side (rib cage, i guess) is too painful! I cant sleep well at night. I cant figure what position to lay down. Im having a hard time sleeping combined with my hourly waking up just to urinate. And just an hour ago, while I was cleaning our water dispenser, I think something just gone wrong again with my left side that it hurts much... i cant bend sideways and when my body tried to become a little stiff or when i tried to walk or cough, my left side aches a lot.... I dont know what this is. I dont know if this is still connected with cushing's. Or is this one of the effects of cushing's because im overweight....? im planning to see and ortho tomorrow and have an xray of my rib cage.... hay (sighs........)
